Boehner said it’s time for anti-abortion activisits to “commit ourselves to doing everything we can to protect the sanctity of life.”

But only up until birth. After that, bootstraps, kid.

The GOP was wrong on methods to improve the job market … and they lost that battle.
They were wrong on strategies to improve the national economy … and they lost that battle.
They were wrong on taxation involving the wealthiest Americans … and they lost that battle.
They were wrong on gay marriage rights … and they lost that battle.
They were wrong on the ACA (aka ObamaCare) … and they lost that battle.

And so now they want to fall on their collective swords over a woman’s right to make her own medical decisions.
Well, you know the saying: Those who fail to learn from their past mistakes …

Correction.. The Government can only work to stop safe and legal abortions. There were plenty of abortions before Roe v Wade. They weren’t safe and a lot of women died because of that, but the GOP doesn’t care about them.

More cynically, to the GOP atavists, women dying in large numbers because of unsafe abortions is a big win, because the evils of their slutty behavior are resulting in their injury and death.

Yes, they really are that twisted.

“Small government yay.” Not only that, but what if the fetus does not grow up to be in the “one percent?” Them I guess he/she will be a parasite who should perish.

But not too soon. More worker units are needed to contribute to the over-supply of labor. They are allowed to die off when their exploitation is no longer economically viable.

Small government yay.

Small enough to fit into every woman’s vagina!

This is really the true core of today’s GOP, their thin veneer of “fiscal responsibility” notwithstanding.

Since ending abortion means “protecting the sanctity of life” to Boehner, it’s obvious the “pro-life” people believe that “every egg is sacred” and that’s why they fight so much to end access to contraception for women.
